The salary and reverse calculators apply the ATO’s progressive resident rates, the 2% Medicare levy with its low-income reduction, LITO, the 12% super guarantee and the 2026–27 HELP thresholds. The work hours and pro rata tools follow the National Employment Standards: a 38-hour full-time week, unpaid breaks, overtime outside ordinary hours, four weeks of annual leave and pro rata entitlements for part-time employees. The second job, bonus, tax return and withholding tools use the ATO’s 2026–27 Schedule 1 coefficients and the Schedule 5 apportionment method for one-off payments. The newer tools cover the ATO’s marginal HELP bands, the 10% GST split, super compounding, contractor day rates with optional GST, and investment growth from regular contributions. The newest tools compare a mortgage offset with after-tax investing, model debt recycling, and estimate annual leave, long service leave and redundancy payouts using state and ATO rules. The pay rise and salary sacrifice tools focus on after-tax outcomes, while the child care subsidy and Support at Home calculators use the 2026–27 CCS thresholds, hourly caps and aged care funding levels.
