Privacy policy
Your salary is your business. This calculator is built to work without collecting it.
Last updated: November 2026
1. The short version
Salary Calculator Australia does not require an account, email address or any personal details. The numbers you enter into the calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us or stored on a server.
2. What we collect
We do not collect the salary, super rate, financial year or tax settings you enter. The site does not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking. If you email us, we receive the contents of your email and your email address, and we use it only to respond.
3. How calculations work
The calculator runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No salary data is submitted to an API, database or third party. Refreshing or closing the page clears the values you entered.
4. Hosting and server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information such as the requested page, time of request, browser type and approximate location in server logs. These logs are used for security and reliability, not to identify individual visitors.
5. Third-party services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and links to external websites, including the Australian Taxation Office. Those services have their own privacy policies. We do not control their content or data practices. Clicking an external link takes you to a site governed by that operator’s policy.
6. Cookies and local storage
The calculator does not use cookies or local storage to remember your inputs. If this changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
7. Children
This site is a general information tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices
Because we do not hold an account or profile for you, there is no personal data to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, contact us and we will delete it unless we are required to keep it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date shown above.
10. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@salarycalculators.com.au.
